My Gratitude and Joy

As you probably know by now I have been busy with a worldwide project I call Katrina’s Zen Kin® Cousins Project. I started it on February 15 and now there are just 65 days left to participate. I am so very grateful and filled with joy because of this project. I am feeling like sharing today what some of the participants have told me. Below is a picture of some of the notes that I have received along with the Zen Kin® Cousins that have come to me from all over the world. There is no requirement to add a note and I want to assure you that I do not need for you to add a note when you send yours. I just want to share some of the wonderful things that people are telling me.

I love going to the mail to see what the postman has brought to me each day. There have only been three days where I have had zero. Most days I get a few. It is with pleasure that I open each one carefully and reveal the Zen Kin® Cousin inside. I welcome them and cherish them. After I open them, I send a thank you email to the creator. If they have not provided their email for me I try to message them through Facebook. There are only a few that I have not been able to contact. If you are one of these few, please know that I appreciate you. You may message me to see if your cousin arrived safely. It is so heartwarming to know that the creator was the last person to touch their Zen Kin® Cousin before I take them out of their envelope. I have recieved each one here in my home and then joined them with the others already here. I am going to be so happy to reveal the wall to you when the time comes. It will be on August 15. The project ends on July 15 but I am giving myself time to properly organize and display the wall. Here is a video of me opening one of the many envelopes I have received.

Once I email the creator of the Zen Kin® Cousin, I take a picture of the front and back of the tile, or piece of paper, that the Zen Kin® Cousin is on. I add that to my album on my Google Photos and then my daughter, Chelsea, types up all the information for me. One of the things that I am interested in, and the list makes it easier to see, is where on earth all these Zen Kin® Cousins are coming from. I also have a goal to get a Zen Kin® Cousin from every state of the USA. I have a list below that tells what states and countries that I have. If yours is not listed, would you consider helping us out to make this project even more awesome?

Zen Kin® continue to bring me joy daily and now I am finding that Zen Kin® Cousins are bringing joy to others. I love to bring joy to others and this is a creative way to do that. It is this little girl below that would be so amazed by knowing that something she created and shared is bringing joy to people from around the world. I am honored and happy for the little girl in me and happy for all those that are finding joy in this creative outlet. I appreciate each and every one of you.
